The arrival of the night trail 2024 will be at la roca d'en maig

Despite the efforts of the Lloret de Mar City Council's work teams, Lloret Beach will not be in the necessary conditions to welcome the arrival of the Night Trail 2024. On June 11, the tasks began to leveling the sand on the beach and although much progress has been made in the section that goes from the Museu del Mar towards La Caleta, the southern part of the beach, more damaged by the storms and where the last meters of the Night Trail still does not have enough sand, and what is there does not allow safe running conditions.
This morning, in the coordination meeting between the organizers and the City Council, it was decided that the current state of the beach does not offer the space or the appropriate security conditions to welcome the arrival of the test. So, despite the important efforts made by the Sports and Environment Departments of Lloret de Mar City Council and the organizing entities, this year the race will end at the Roca d'en Maig, when the section of the road ends round Although the finish will still be by the sea, the organizers hope to bring back the finish on the beach for the 10th edition in 2025.
We cannot go against Nature but for our part we will use all the means to continue offering an experience like that of the last editions, where the arrival is a party for the participants, with fire, music and the warmth of the Costa Brava.
