Success in the Night Trail with arrival at Roca d'en Maig

Lloret de Mar, June 29, 2024.- The 9th Lloret Night Trail, organized by the City Council and for the second edition jointly with the Lloret-La Selva Athletics club, La Sansi and Cabra's Trail, has sold out all 600 numbers. With the collaboration of the La Selva Regional Council and the sponsorship of Acerko.
It should be noted that participants from 18 different countries were registered, starting at Avenida de las Alegrias and finishing at Roca d'en Maig, having to change the already mythical arrival from the beach for the storm.
In the men's category in the 14 km, local athlete Joan Dieste from Club Atletisme Lloret La Selva won in 1h06'00, Nil Congost second with 1'07'14 and Pere Boades, also from Club Atletisme Lloret La Selva, third. In women, victory for the Russian Anna Tarasova with 1'11'31, ahead of Eva Roca and the also Russian Assia Komissarova.
In the 7 km, the winner for the second consecutive year was Roger Valero with 30'01, ahead of David Gutierrez and the local athlete from the Lloret La Selva Athletics Club, Joan Bernat. In women, winner Laia Cuervo, ahead of Ana Belen García and the athlete Blanca Gonzalez.
The charity check with the contributions raised in the race has been delivered to the Health Volunteers entity to help improve the conditions of the children's population on the Island of Nosy Be and the Ambanja region in Madagascar.
